Up and Away was brought back to be a part of Lincoln Center's Big Umbrella festival. Learn more below! The Big Umbrella Festival is the world’s first month-long festival dedicated to arts programs for children on the autism spectrum and their families, launching during Autism Awareness Month in April 2018. The festival is an outgrowth of Lincoln Center Education’s longtime commitment to making art accessible in all forms to diverse audiences. Thoughtfully curated with their unique needs in mind, Big Umbrella’s core objective is to enrich the lives of children on the autism spectrum through inclusive art that engages, educates, and inspires. Up and Away? . . . And down to stay... | An absolute honor to direct this show, be inspired by this cast, supported by this crew, guided by this creative team, Trusty Sidekick and Lincoln Center. It's the hardest show to say goodbye to, but the magic that this audience has brought to my life is something I will never let go of. |
